Highland Creek Fitness Classes

All fitness classes require a Highland Creek ID for participation.

April 2019 Fitness Calendar

Adult Yoga Classes – Classes will be held at the Sports Club every Monday, 6:30 – 8:00pm. Cost is $10 per class. Students are encouraged to bring their own mat and bottle of water. For more information –

Chair Yoga Classes – Classes will be held at the Sports Club every Monday from 12:00noon – 1:00pm.  (The Thursday evening class has been cancelled until May 16th.)  Cost is $5 per class.

Tai Chi Classes – Classes will be held at the Sports Club Tuesdays at 10:00am. Cost is $10 per class ($8 Seniors). Contact Karen Koutsky at or 704-929-1015 for more information.

Baby Boot Camp – Classes are held at Prosperity Park field Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 10:00am, and Saturdays at 9:00am.   To enroll in a free trial class, visit and click on the Charlotte (North) location, or contact Liz Tompkins at 980-999-1103 or

Baby Boot Camp’s stroller-fitness classes combine strength-training exercises, cardiovascular drills, and core work in 60-minute sessions. The idea is to combine an effective workout for moms with engaging interaction for their stroller-age children, all the while providing a support system (the MomStrong Tribe) for women at this unique time of their lives.

NEW!  Self Defense Classes – Classes will be held at the Sports Club Mondays and Thursdays at 9:00am except the 1st Thursday of the month.  Contact Justin at for more information.  Read flyer.

NEW!  Zumba Classes – Classes are held at the Sports Club Wednesdays 6:00-7:00pm (except 1st Wednesday of the month) and Saturdays 8:00-8:45am.  Cost is $5 per class.  Contact Candra at for more information.  Read flyer.

Water Aerobics – Beginning June 4th, classes will be held at Prosperity Park pool Tuesday evenings 6:00-7:00pm through the end of July.  $5/class if paid at first class; $6 on day of class (cash only).  Equipment provided.  Students are encouraged to wear water shoes, bring a towel and bottled water.  Contact Valerie at for more information.
