Heartsavers CPR/AED Certification Class

Saturday, September 27th at the Sports Club.  Two sessions will be available: 11:00-1:00pm (click here) and 2:00-4:00pm (click here). This course will cover Adult, Child and Infant CPR/AED. Upon successful completion of class, each participant will receive a 2 year certification card. Cost is $30 per person (ages 12 through adults).

Charlotte Reading Web Fall Festival

Saturday, October 11th, 9:00am-12:00pm at Prosperity Park Clubhouse. Ages 3-6 *Must be potty trained! *Snack will be provided. $25 for the first child / $10 for the second child. This awesome festival will keep your little readers and scientists busy all afternoon!  The students will participate in hands-on reading games and science projects. The activities will include bobbing for letters, slime with words, and pumpkin activities! Some of the fun science experiments will include Halloween candy. The kids will work on their knowledge of letters, sounds, and sight words through reading games such as hopscotch, basketball, and relay races. Bat-O-Ween

Saturday, October 18th at Prosperity Park Clubhouse.  Two sessions will be available, 10:00-10:45am and 11:00-11:45am.

Have some batty fun as children learn the importance of our only flying mammal - the bat! Kids love seeing all the funny faces of bats while learning why their face shapes help them find food through echolocation. Feel a simulated bat wing, see mounted bats, try on bat biologist equipment, kids can dress up like a bat and more. Meet live cave creatures including mice, roaches, millipedes and a snake. Registration begins October 1st for this free activity.
