4th of July Parade

Decorate your bike, tricycle, wagon, etc. and ride alongside a fire truck! Parade line-up begins promptly at 9:00am and will depart from Prosperity Park at 9:15am. Judging and prizes will begin once the entire parade returns to the park.

Creek Kids Tween & Teen Bingo

Looking for something to do on a week-night during the summer? Come join fellow "tweens & teens" for an hour-packed evening of BINGO! There are many great prizes & gift certificates to win!

Kids Cooking

Kids Cooking will be held at Prosperity Park Clubhouse on Wednesday, August 22nd from 2-3 p.m. for kids ages 5-10.

Have your child come out and learn some cooking techniques, make a healthy snack, and leave with some fun prizes. Water or juice will be provided.

Kid's Triathlon

Sunday, September 16th, 1:00pm at Christenbury Park Pool for kids ages 6-10. Registration before August 26th will be $20 and after August 26th will be $25. Click here to register.

Coloring Contest

Please have your child complete the coloring page with crayons or colored pencils and drop off at the Sports Club by June 30th. The winning pictures will be published in the August newsletter.

Flick n' Float

The Flick n' Float will be held at Prosperity Park Swimming Pool on Friday, August 17th from 7:30-10:30 p.m. for rising 6th to 9th grade Highland Creek residents. The movie title will be voted on by all participants. Cost for this event is $5 per child. Pizza, drink and snacks will be available at no additional charge. Click here to register by August 10th.

Adult Bingo

Adult Bingo will be held July 27, 2012, 7-9 p.m. at the Player's Grille inside the Highland Creek Golf Club. Cost is $1 per card for ages 21 and up. Come at 6:30 and enjoy complimentary light appetizers while they last (limited servings per person). Beverages will be available for purchase.

No registration required. This event is for Highland Creek residents only. You must show your Highland Creek ID to purchase playing cards.

Creek Kids Tween Luau Social

Thursday, July 19th, 7pm – 10pm (For rising and current Middle School Students) at Prosperity Park Pool. Cost is $5 per person.

Movie in the Park

Dolphin Tale will be showing at Prosperity Park June 9th at dusk. The rain date for this event is June 16th.

Pools Open

Creek Kids Teen & Tween Scavenger Hunt

Wednesday, June 13th, 9:30-11:30 am at the Sports Club (Ages 11 and up). Cost is $5 per person.

Participants are divided into small teams, given a list of hunt items, and sent on their way around the park and clubhouse to find them. The top three teams win prizes, and the others don't leave empty handed! Water and snack are provided.

Highland Creek Summer Camps

The following camps are available this summer. Click here for a flyer containing a description of all camps. Click on each individual link below to register for the camp. Please attach a copy of your confirmation to your payment before mailing or dropping off at the Sports Club.

CAMPS ARE FOR HIGHLAND CREEK RESIDENTS ONLY UNTIL MAY 15TH. Non-residents may register for camp after May 15th only if attending as a guest with a Highland Creek resident.

Highland Creek Community Night at The Kannapolis Intimidators

Highland Creek Community Night will be held at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium, located at exit 63 off I-85. Gates will open at 6 p.m. and the Kannapolis Intimidators will take on the Lexington Legends starting at 7:05 p.m.

FREE general admission tickets can be picked up at the Sports Club office with your Highland Creek ID. There is a limit of one ticket per ID card.

Couples Golf

Couples golf is every Friday at 5:00 pm beginning April 13th and ending in September. This is a fun and relaxed evening of TGIF golf with each week bringing a new and different format.

If you are new to couples golf, register with the Highland Creek Golf Clubhouse to get on the email list and start receiving weekly updates or contact Mike Layel at 704-651-8111 or mlayel@aol.com.

Creek Kids FUNBUS

Wednesday, June 20th at Prosperity Park.

The Fun Bus is a full sized school bus whose seats have all been removed and walls and floor carpeted and padded. The Fun Bus philosophy is to enhance learning going on inside the classroom and home, using a hands-on approach to fitness and making it Fun! If you have two children who fall into the different time slots, you will need to register them each separately.

Swim Lessons

Please read the information sheet regarding swim lessons and choose the appropriate session listed below to register. Payments can be dropped off at the Highland Creek Sports Club or mailed to Bridget Sprinkle, 6616 Clarke Creek Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28269 but must be received before the class begins.
