HOW TO DO MORE FOR YOUR COMMUNITY

Ever wish you could be more involved in the day-to-day management of Highland Creek? Now is a great time to get active. Highland Creek is looking for Board of Directors candidates, village representatives and committee members to help shape and manage our great community.

Board of Directors elections will take place at the annual meeting of the association on September 21, 2010. The Highland Creek Board of Directors consists of nine members. Three of those nine member spots are either up for re-election or will be vacant. If you are interested in running for the HCCA Board of Directors please send a message via e-mail with a brief biography to Kelly St. Clair at: kellystclair1@gmail.com.

Also there are several committees that need members and/or a chairperson. Those committees are:

Facilities Committee: Chair and additional members

Finance Committee: Additional members

Pool Committee: Additional members

Activities and Communications Committee: Additional members

Community Affairs Committee: Additional members
Special Committee on Drainage Issues: Chair and members

SPORTS CLUB HOURS

The Sports Club and Fitness Room is open Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m., Saturday 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., closed on Sunday.

NEW POSTAL SUB-STATION OPENS NEAR HIGHLAND CREEK

The U.S. Postal Service has entered into an agreement with a local business to operate a post office location at the Bi-Lo Shopping Center. Most all USPS services are being offered with the exception of postal money orders.

The post office is located inside the Speedburner-Celetex office located at the Bi-Lo Shopping Center, 5346 Prosperity Church Road, Suite D, Charlotte, NC 28269. The post office will be open Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Please Note: All Parks, Pools, Amenities, Tennis Courts, Basketball Courts, Sports Venues and Common Use Facilities are PRIVATE and for the exclusive use of Highland Creek residents and their guests. All scheduled events are for residents and their guests as well.

Highland Creek Security has the authority to ask to see proof of residence. Please carry your Highland Creek ID badge with you when using our facilities, parks, etc.
