Ray is the Director of Tennis for HC.   Ray played collegiate tennis at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where he was an All Conference Singles and Doubles player and Co-Captain of the Men’s Team.  After college, he began teaching full time in Greensboro, NC.  Since then he has worked in various tennis positions from country clubs, to city programs, as well as the collegiate setting.  Ray has worked with state ranked, nationally ranked and world ranked players.  He has been teaching tennis for 25 years and has been teaching in HC for five years.   He enjoys working with all levels of players, from the new beginner starting out to the advanced player.  Ray is a member of the USPTA where he holds the highest certification rating other than Master Professional.
