HIGHLAND CREEK ACTIVITIES
Highland Creek employs two part-time Activities Coordinators, Ruth Beatty and Erin Flynn, to help plan and initiate several activities, camps, seminars, concerts and special events throughout the year. Additionally, we contract a Sports/Aquatics Director, Bridget Sprinkle to assist with the Fitness and Swim program. Please check this section often to see what is being offered. ADULT YOGA CLASSES - Will be held at the Sports Club every Monday and Thursday 6:30-8 p.m. and Friday morning 9:30-11:00 a.m. Cost is $10 per class. Students are encouraged to bring their own mat and bottle of water. No classes on December 23rd and 29th.
FIT
ZUMBA CLASSES - Will be held Wednesday evenings from 6-7 p.m. and Saturday mornings 9-10 a.m. at the Sports Club. Cost is $5 per class. No classes on December 24th and 31st.
SPRING COLORING CONTEST - Have your child color the Spring coloring page with crayons or colored pencils and drop off at the Sports Club by February 24th. The winners will be published in the April newsletter.
SPRING GARAGE SALE REGISTRATION - Saturday, March 10th at the Sports Club from 9:00 am-11:00 am or until spaces are full. Registration forms will be available online and at the Sports Club beginning March 1st. The Garage Sale is currently scheduled for Saturday, April 21st at Highland Creek Elementary School from 8:00 am - 11:00 am.
"PLEASE PASS THE PEAS" YOUTH ETIQUETTE CLASS - Sunday, March 11th, 1-4 p.m. at Prosperity Park Clubhouse. Cost is $15 per child for ages 7-12. A snack and beverage will be provided. This well thought-out class is based on proper etiquette, setting the table, phone manners and much more! Spaces are limited, so please register (click here) by March 2nd
SWIM TEAM REGISTRATION - Meetings will be held Tuesday, March 13th from 7-9pm at the Sports Club and Tuesday, March 27th from 7-9 pm at Prosperity Park Clubhouse. An information session will be held at 6 pm on the same dates. For more information, visit the swim team website www.hchswimteam.com.
RUN THE CREEK 5K - Saturday, March 17th, 9:00 am at Highland Creek Elementary School. To register for the race or for more information, click here.
EASTER EGG HUNT & FAMILY FIELD DAY - Saturday, March 24th, 11:00 - 2:00 pm at Prosperity Park. Search for over 5,000 eggs including over 50 prize eggs! Enjoy prizes, clowns, inflatable sides and bouncers, train rides, face-painting, balloon designs, Easter bonnets contest (12 noon), free popcorn & cotton candy. Egg hunt begins promptly at 11:15 am for all age groups!
Field Day - Enjoy a variety of family games including Bean Bag Toss, Tug-of-War, Potato Sac Race, Ping Pong Relay, Hula Hoop Roll and many more!
Rain Date for the Egg Hunt, meeting the Easter Bunny and Family Field Day only will be held Sunday, March 25th at 2 p.m. The hunt will begin at 2:15 should the rain date take place.
ADULT BINGO - April 27th, 7-9 p.m. at the Player's Grille inside the Highland Creek Golf Club. Cost is $1 per card for ages 21 and up. Come at 6:30 and enjoy complimentary light appetizers while they last (limited servings per person). Beverages will be available for purchase. No registration required. This event is for Highland Creek residents only. You must show your Highland Creek ID to purchase playing cards.
DIGGIN' DINOSAURS - Saturday, April 28th from 9:00 am - 12 noon at Prosperity Park Clubhouse. This event is for ages 5-10 and costs $25 per child.
Children will learn about dinosaur types and fossils through hands-on activities, books and digging for bones! A perfect learning activity for children with an interest in dinosaurs. Spaces are limited, so please register (click here) by April 20th.

Highland Creek Security has the authority to ask to see proof of residence. Please carry your Highland Creek ID badge with you when using our facilities, parks, etc.
