FITNESS CLASSES - all classes are held at the Highland Creek Sports Club.  A Highland Creek ID is required to participate.

Yoga - Monday & Thursday, 6:30-8:00pm and Friday 9:30-11:00am.  Cost is $10 per class.  

Stroller Strides - Tuesday & Thursday, 10:00-11:00am.  Cost is $10 per class.

Zumba - Wednesday, 6:00-7:00pm and Saturday, 9:00-10:00am.  Cost is $5 per class.

MOVIE IN THE PARK - Saturday, May 18th (no rain date) at Prosperity Park.  Movie showing is Wreck it Ralph, Rated PG, animated.  Free popcorn will be served and the Kona Ice Truck will be on-site before and during the movie with treats starting at $2 per serving.  THIS ACTIVITY HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER.

BBQ LIKE A PRO (CHARCOAL, NOT GAS) - May 19th from 1pm-3pm.  Smoke or no Smoke?  To Rub or not to Rub, that is the question!  In this class participants will build a basic marinade from scratch, grill vegetables and other items and even make a dessert on the grill!  Expect to eat and be filled.  Participants should bring an apron, kitchen towels, a notebook and pen.  Cost is $20/person.  Click here to register.  Class is hosted by Ed Price, Johnson and Wales graduate with over 30 years experience in professional food service.

CONCERT IN THE PARK - Saturday, June 1st from 5pm-8pm at Prosperity Park featuring Matt & John Acoustic Duo.  Several food truck vendors will be on-site (Juan Taco, Southern Cake Queen & Kona Ice) with delicious food for sale throughout the event.  Cash transactions only please.

FAMILY SUMMER POOL PARTY - Sunday, June 2nd (rain date 6/9), 12 noon - 5pm at Christenbury Park pool.  Bring the whole family to enjoy free music and games.  Sponsored by Consuelo Souders, Keller Williams Realty, Brian Souders, Supreme Lending and Michelle O'Connor, O'Connor Insurance Associates.

GENEALOGY CLASSES - Have you always wanted to research your family's history, but didn't know quite how to get started? Join our fun-filled 4 session classes on Wednesday nights - June 12, June 19, June 26 & July 17. Classes will be held at the Prosperity Park Clubhouse from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. You will learn how to get started and where to go from there. Each 2 hour session is just $10 per person. Sessions will be led by Bill Toney. Bill has been working on his family tree for over 30 years and has discovered over 15,500 people in his tree. Click here to register.

SCAVENGER HUNT - Thursday, June 13th at the Sports Club.  Click here to register for ages 11-15 from 10:30 - noon.  Click here to register for ages 5-10 from 9-10am.  Participants are divided into small teams, given a list of hunt items, and sent on their way around the park and clubhouse to find them.  The top three teams win prizes, and the others won't leave empty handed!  Water and snack are provided.  Cost is $5 per person.

FUN BUS - Wednesday, June 19th at Prosperity Park for kids ages 2-7.  The Fun Bus is a full sized school bus whose seats have all been removed and walls and floor carpeted and padded.  The Fun Bus philosophy is to enhance learning going on inside the classroom and home, using a hands-on approach to fitness and making it Fun!  THIS EVENT IS FULL.  PLEASE CONTACT ACTIVITIES AT 704-948-5475 TO BE ADDED TO THE WAIT LIST FOR EITHER THE 10:00-11:00am or 11:00-NOON TIME SLOT.

TWEEN LUAU SOCIAL - Thursday, June 20th at Prosperity Park Pool from 7:00-10:00pm for rising and current middle school students.  Cost is $5 per person which includes pizza, beverage and dessert dontated by Jet's Pizza and Tutti Frutti.  There will be a DJ playing their favorite songs and swimming at the pool.  Fun pool games will be played along with a limbo contest.  Click here to register.  Looking for adult chaperones.  Please call Activities at 704-948-5475.
