Scouting for Food Campaign – February 1st.  The Boy Scouts will be out collecting non-perishable food items in the neighborhood.  Please leave items on your porch or at your mailbox no later than 9:00 a.m.  If you prefer, a central drop-off will be located at the Highland Creek Golf Club.  Click here for more information.

Super Bowl Sunday at The Player’s Grille – February 2nd; kickoff at 6:30 p.m.  Half price wings and appetizers; $2 domestic drafts.  See flyer.

Alzheimer’s Association Monthly Support Group4th Wednesday of each month at 12pm in the community room at The Haven • 5920 McChesney Drive • Please join us and your neighbors as we share stories, encouragement, and advice on how to cope with the diagnosis. Our facilitator will guide the discussion, share information about area resources, and help participants connect with families who understand.  Light lunch will be provided.  For questions, or to RSVP, call 704-947-8050.

Monthly Parkinson’s Support Group – 3rd Tuesday of each month at 12pm in the community room at The Laurels * 6101 Clarke Creek Pkwy*  People with Parkinson’s face new challenges every day. While there’s still no cure, sharing your experiences can make each day a little easier.
