Mooresville Arts 37th Annual Artoberfest – November 1-14. Judged show & competition continue through 11/14. 103 W. Center Ave.

The 75th Annual Mooresville Christmas Parade – November 26 at 3:00 p.m.  Watch from the sidewalks on Main Street but get there early to save a spot – watch marching bands; floats & then Santa wraps up the parade!  Main Street is closed from North of Town Hall to South of Wilson Ave.

“Downtown’s Holiday Light Spectacular”An orchestrated light show that includes over 150,000 lights set to music. Begins November 27 and runs nightly through late December, starting each evening at dusk. On the lawn at Town Hall – 413 N. Main St.  FREE!

Alzheimer’s Association Monthly Support Group4th Wednesday of each month at 12pm in the community room at The Haven • 5920 McChesney Drive • Please join us and your neighbors as we share stories, encouragement, and advice on how to cope with the diagnosis. Our facilitator will guide the discussion, share information about area resources, and help participants connect with families who understand.  Light lunch will be provided.  For questions, or to RSVP, call 704-947-8050.

Monthly Parkinson’s Support Group – 3rd Tuesday of each month at 12pm in the community room at The Laurels * 6101 Clarke Creek Pkwy*  People with Parkinson’s face new challenges every day. While there’s still no cure, sharing your experiences can make each day a little easier.
